First Lap is a well established driving school with a reputation of providing professional, friendly and relaxed driving lessons in Caerphilly and surrounding areas. Here at First Lap we believe that learning to drive should be something you enjoy and we want you to look forward to each lesson... not dread it! We believe that for you to learn you need to be relaxed. Making mistakes is all part of learning so when you do, don't worry our instructors will explain and encourage you and not shout and ball at you!
All instructors at First Lap are licensed by the DSA so you can relax in the knowledge that you are receiving a high standard of tuition, for your added peace of mind all our instructors are criminal records checked.
At First Lap we understand the importance of learning to drive in a safe and comfortable environment, as a result all our vehicles are fitted with dual controls so your instructor can step in if you get into a tricky situation. All the vehicles have air conditioning to keep you cool and relaxed, they are also clearly sign written so you stand out as a learner driver.

We provide a door to door service so you can be picked up and dropped off at a location of your choice. You will never share your lesson with another pupil. We cover all areas of Caerphilly County. Some of the areas are Caerphilly, Abertridwr, Llanbradach, Ystrad Mynach, Hengoed, Bargoed, Nelson, Pontypridd, Cardiff and surrounding areas. Please contact us to see if there is an instructor in your area. Our prices are very competitive and we offer block booking discounts and special offers. If you are learning with a relative why not take advantage our knowledge and experience. We will be more than happy to help you perfect you're driving for your test.
Upon passing your test we are Pass Plus registered so you can extend your knowledge, be safer on the roads and save up to 30% on your car insurance. Pass Plus consists of a minimum 6 hours additional training including motorways, rural roads and driving at night. Although there is no test, you do have demonstrate to your instructor that you are competent in all aspects of the Pass Plus modules. |
